I dare you...
With just over two hours to go until the UK switches it's lights out for one hour, I thought I'd update you all with another post.
I just really wanted to remind you all of the campaign by WWF (as my last post was quite a while ago).
Today at 8:30PM, many people across the UK will be turning their lights off to acknowledge the use of fossil fuels and why we must try to find alternatives. They will all have their own reasons for doing this, but my personal reason is to bring to light (lol, pun not intended) the destruction of forests for fuel, construction, farmland...
Forests provide an important habitat for millions of animals across the world. They rely on forests to supply food and shelter and without them, many would struggle to adapt. With the earth's population growing rapidly, it is becoming more difficult for communities to support themselves without damaging the environment around them. That is why legislation must be put in place to protect the environment and research must be conducted to provide ecological alternatives.
I hope you all don't mind me going 'green' on you, but with more and more species becoming endangered, I felt I need to get the word out somehow, even if it is just amongst my followers.
Thanks for putting up with me guys, I really appreciate it ;)
Have a lovely day!
